A Kirkin' of the Council service will be held in St Serf's Parish Church, Tullibody, on Sunday 12th October.
Rev. Donald Thomson is looking forward to welcoming visitors and Elected Members into his church on this special occasion.
The service begins at 11am and will include readings by Portfolio Holder for Inclusion, Councillor George Matchett, and Head of Environmental Services, Ewart McAuslane. The service will be followed by a buffet lunch in the Church Hall.
There will be a photo opportunity after the service at 12.15pm at the Church Hall.
The traditional Kirkin' service is a way for the Council to show its dedication and commitment to promoting the welfare of the community.
All councillors are invited to attend the service and the Council workforce and members of the public are also made welcome.
Last year's Kirkin' service was held at St Mungo's Parish Church, Alloa.
