After the success of previous Writers' Spaces workshops one of Clackmannanshire's Writers in Residence, Stuart Hepburn, will host a third workshop at Alloa Library.
The event takes place at 7pm on Tuesday 5th August.
The idea behind the initiative is to provide local writers with a quiet space away from all the hurly burly of everyday life, but with support and help should they need it.
The workshop will last two hours, from 7pm till 9pm, and will start with a short writing exercise to stimulate the imagination. Then the writers will be able to find a quiet space to start off that new story, sort out the middle of that poem, or finish off the novel that's been gathering dust for three years. Stuart will be on hand to lend a hand should he be needed.
The workshop is open to anyone aged over 16.
