Clackmannanshire Council hosted its 4th Building Standards Customer Forum meeting in the Council Chambers earlier this month.
This successful event was attended by a number of representatives from both local and national house builders, developers, architects and designers.
The purpose of the focus group is to help the Council's Building Standards Team develop and improve services to meet the needs of it's many and varied customers. It is also used to update customers on recent service developments, future enhancements and is an opportunity to ask customers what they want from the Service.
Topics discussed included the current consultation by the Scottish Building Standards on the national technical handbooks. The handbooks state and explain the Building Regulations and offer extensive guidance on compliance and are reviewed every two years.
