After the huge success of the event two years' ago and due to popular demand, Buzz @the Recs returns this summer.
The five week build-up to the event on Sunday 10th August begins soon with workshops in dance, drama and sport taking place. Local youngsters will be able to hone their talents and work towards a performance or exhibition to be shown at Buzz @ the Recs.
An Arts Academy is being held at Alva Academy and young people aged from 10 to 16 can sign up for five days of intensive workshops with professional arts facilitators including dance, drama, arts& crafts and more.

Live music and DJs play a big part at Buzz and the Glasshouse Music Project will be teaching those interested in learning about the engineering side of the music business during the summer. From Monday 30th June to Friday 25th July youngsters will be taught skills such as microphone positioning, PA set up and sound engineering. Call 763940 for more information.
Buzz @ the Recs is from 1-6pm on Sunday 10th August at Recreation Park and is a community fun day for all the family and a chance to see local young people showing off their talents.
