In a closed session on 19 June, Clackmannanshire Council considered the remediation of a small area of land in Alva. Insofar as the property owners were not aware that the land needed remediation and that their liability may cause financial hardship, the Council agreed to use its statutory powers and grant funding to intervene to treat the ground. This treatment will ensure the land is entirely safe.
