Smoking

The most recent findings estimate 8,485 adult smokers in Clackmannanshire, 547 or 6.4% of whom attempted to quit smoking in 2016/17. The NHS reported a 47.6% success rate (quit after 1 month) in smoking cessation in Clackmannanshire for 2017/18 - higher than the 38.4% in Scotland as a whole.
