Application for Demolition Consent
Demolition Consent is generally required for:
- the demolition of any residential building or part of a residential building, including flatted dwellinghouses;
- any listed building;
- any building in a conservation area;
- any building which is a scheduled monument;
- any building the cubic content of which, measure externally, does not exceed 50 cubic metres;
- the whole or any part of any gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure.
For your own protection it is highly recommended that you contact a member of the Development Quality Team before undertaking demolition of any buildings within Clackmannanshire.
In all cases supporting information and justification on the need for demolition works will be required with an application. You will also be required to notify neighbouring property of your intentions and should again seek clarification on this procedure when making contact with the Development Quality Team.
