Would you like to volunteer but are a bit wary of trying something new?
At the volunteer centre we would be happy to help you try something different. We give individual service in finding the right volunteer placement to suit your personal needs and can accompany you to your placement if you so choose. We will personally introduce you to the people with whom you will be working and ensure that you are welcomed and looked after in an appropriate manner.
Are you disabled or unable to get out? Would you like to be involved in your community?
We have a variety of volunteering opportunities that you can do from your own home. Activities range from telephone befriending to knitting and fundraising.
This would involve you in something worthwhile at the same time as opening the door to you to participate in your local community.
Young People
If you are a younger person who would like to increase their skills, make new friends, try something different or are looking for a challenge we have a number of opportunities which may interest you.
Over 50?
If you are over 50, have a few hours to spare and would like to get involved in any number of opportunities we would be delighted to hear from you.
