Clackmannanshire's Awards 2012
The Provost of Clackmannanshire is hosting a joint Award Ceremony to recognise the dedication and commitment that local people and groups make to help improve the quality of life in Clackmannanshire.
There are three different categories of awards you can make an nomination for:
Citizen of the Year - sponsored by the Lord Lieutenant's Trust.
There are many volunteers throughout Clackmannanshire who deserve to be recognised for their dedication, time and effort. The Citizen of the Year Award, sponsored by the Lord-Lieutenant’s Trust is an opportunity to acknowledge and thank some of our champions.
Young Citizen of the Year - sponsored by Provost, Tina Murphy.
For the first time this year Provost Tina Murphy is sponsoring an addition to the Citizen of the Year category.
Young Citizen of the Year provides an opportunity to recognise an inspirational local person, under the age of 25, who has enriched the lives of others or has been selfless in their actions.

- Junior Sports Personality of the Year
- Senior Sports Personality of the Year
- Team of the Year
- School Team of the Year
- Triumph over Adversity
- Services to Sport - presented by S.A.L.S.C in conjunction with Sportscotland
- Enid Barton - Coach of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year (Sport)
Each finalist will be invited to attend an award ceremony on Thursday, 21st February in Alloa Town Hall.
