The Oval - Alloa West Business Park

Location

The Oval at Alloa West Business Park is situated on the west side of Alloa, alongside The Pavilions, approximately 6 miles (10km) due east of Stirling. Occupying a strategic location equidistant from both Glasgow and Edinburgh, The Oval is highly accessible to locations throughout central Scotland.

The Park is situated on the south side of the A907 (the main trunk road linking Alloa to Stirling) approximately 1.2 miles (1.9km) from Alloa Town Centre. A new roundabout junction has been developed to create exclusive access into Alloa West Business Park off the A907, providing superb transport links east and west to the arterial road network throughout Central Scotland. Accessibility has been further enhanced by the re-opening of the Kincardine to Stirling Railway line, which has provided a new railway station in Alloa town centre. The new 'Clackmannanshire Bridge' will also improve accessibility when it opens in November 2008.

The Oval currently extends to 5.5 acres (2.12 hectares) providing a high quality, low density landscaped environment creating a superb new working environment.

The first phase of the development comprises two 10,000sq ft (929sq m) high quality production units both currently occupied.

Although there is no current availability at The Oval, there are plans for the development of Phase 2, a further 10,000sq ft (929sq m) of light industrial/office accommodation.

Regional Selective Assistance

The Park is located within a Grant Assisted Area for the purposes of Regional Selective Assistance, available to qualifying applicants, towards the capital costs of investment projects.
